Your responsibilities as a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager
As a Senior Manager, you'll work on complex, high-profile transfer pricing projects, helping international businesses develop effective tax strategies and navigate an increasingly complex global regulatory environment. Your responsibilities will span the full transfer pricing lifecycle, from designing new pricing models following business expansions or restructurings to supporting major transactions, managing HMRC interactions and ensuring compliance with international tax requirements.
You'll take ownership of technically demanding engagements, delivering high-quality advice and commercially focused solutions while working closely with clients, tax authorities and multidisciplinary teams. Building strong client relationships will be a key part of your role, alongside identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing engagements and using innovative technology and AI-enabled solutions to enhance service delivery.
You'll also contribute to the continued growth and development of the wider team, providing coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues while supporting business development, thought leadership and other strategic initiatives.
Requirements
You'll bring significant experience in Transfer Pricing, with strong technical expertise across the full transfer pricing lifecycle and a commitment to keeping your knowledge up to date.
You'll have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders, advise clients and explain complex tax matters clearly. Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking and a proactive approach to identifying risks and delivering practical solutions are essential.
You'll also have proven experience in managing, coaching and developing junior team members, alongside excellent project management and organisational skills. You'll be comfortable balancing multiple priorities, managing budgets and meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of client service.
Ideally, you'll hold a relevant professional qualification, such as ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA, CFA or a Law qualification, or possess equivalent specialist tax knowledge. Experience interpreting tax legislation and applying it to complex client situations would be highly advantageous.
