We are exclusively partnering with a multinational business searching for a Senior Group Tax Manager to join the London tax team.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will take on a broad, hands-on position covering tax compliance, advisory and governance across the organisation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and finance teams throughout the business, providing clear, commercially focused advice. The role will also be central to transforming the way the tax function operates, including redesigning processes and controls through the effective and responsible use of AI and other technology.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Leading UK tax compliance and advisory matters across corporation tax, transfer pricing, VAT, Senior Accounting Officer requirements, PAYE Settlement Agreements and the Construction Industry Scheme.
* Overseeing corporate income tax and VAT compliance across Europe, working closely with local finance teams and external advisers.
* Preparing and reviewing tax provisions and disclosures for the Group's consolidated financial statements.
* Managing the Group's transfer pricing documentation and supporting the tax aspects of intra-group arrangements.
* Advising on business developments, legislative changes and emerging tax risks.
* Transforming tax processes and controls through the effective and responsible use of AI and other technology.
* Building effective relationships with senior stakeholders and colleagues across finance, legal, people and the wider business.
Ideally, you will be ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified and have substantial in-house tax experience gained within a multinational business, together with strong UK corporation tax knowledge and practical experience across a broader range of taxes. You will also have experience managing compliance across multiple entities or jurisdictions and possess strong tax accounting and provisioning knowledge. Prior VAT and employment tax experience is not a strict requirement.
Unfortunately, this opportunity does not offer visa sponsorship.
This role offers £90,000-£110,000 base salary depending on experience, a discretionary 15% target bonus, and a host of other benefits. The tax team follow a hybrid working pattern of 2-3 days in the office.
