Direct Taxes Manager, In-house - Cheshire

We're looking for a Tax Manager to join this in-house tax team in Chester.  A truly broad tax role that offers the opportunity to gain experience in European direct tax, US GAAP reporting, transfer pricing, Pillar Two & UK tax governance.  You'll manage the direct taxes of a portfolio of European jurisdictions, including the UK, working closely with local finance teams and external advisers.  

You'll work across the full breadth of tax governance - managing UK-specific requirements Senior Accounting Officer (SAO), Tax Strategy, Corporate Criminal Offence (CCO), and the world of Pillar Two. As well as the opportunity to contribute to improving automation, using tax technology and finding smarter ways of working.

This role would suit a qualified tax professional (e.g., CTA, ACA or equivalent) with previous experience dealing with large groups ideally gained in a large accountancy firm or in industry.
