Personal Tax Assistant Manager – Personal Tax
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE

Clark Wood is working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice that is looking to appoint an Assistant Tax Manager to join its Private Client / Personal Tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ATT or CTA qualified tax professional with solid private client experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.

Working closely with senior members of the tax team, you will manage a varied portfolio of private clients and provide a high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory service.

•    Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
•    Preparation and review of Self Assessment tax returns
•    Advising clients on a range of personal tax matters
•    Providing tax planning and advisory support
•    Dealing with HMRC correspondence and enquiries
•    Reviewing work prepared by junior members of the team
•    Supporting and mentoring more junior staff
•    Building and maintaining strong client relationships
•    Assisting the Tax Manager and Partners with more complex tax work

The successful candidate will be ATT or CTA qualified and have previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice.

CTA qualification would be particularly advantageous, although strong ATT qualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
