We’re looking for an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join a growing national Tax Consultancy team, based in Kendal. You’ll work with a varied portfolio of private clients, leading tax advisory projects, building trusted client relationships and providing specialist advice across areas including Agricultural Tax and Trust matters.

Your responsibilities as a Private Client Tax Manager
You’ll take the lead on a range of tax advisory projects, working directly with clients to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality, commercially focused advice. You’ll provide guidance across specialist areas while ensuring clients receive an outstanding level of service throughout each engagement.

You’ll be responsible for managing advisory projects from initial planning through to completion, coordinating workloads and ensuring work is delivered accurately and efficiently. You’ll build strong, trusted relationships with clients, identifying their evolving tax requirements and potential opportunities for additional advisory support.

Working collaboratively across the wider firm, you’ll communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders and partner with colleagues across different teams and offices to bring together the appropriate expertise. You’ll help ensure projects are coordinated effectively, deadlines are achieved and consistently high standards of technical advice and client service are maintained.

Requirements
You will ideally be CTA qualified, with proven experience leading tax advisory projects and working directly with clients to deliver an outstanding level of service. Knowledge of Agricultural Tax and Trust matters would be highly advantageous, along with the confidence to provide advice across these specialist areas. You’ll bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues across the firm.

A collaborative approach and strong teamwork skills are essential, as you’ll work closely with teams across multiple offices. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.
