We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Director / Partner to join a rapidly expanding team in Kendal. Your responsibilities as a Corporate Tax Director / Partner
You’ll act as the Tax Relationship Partner for an established portfolio of clients, taking ownership of client relationships and ensuring work is prioritised and delivered effectively across the team. You’ll oversee the scope and budget of each engagement, agreeing proposed work and fees with clients before projects begin, while monitoring progress and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders throughout.

You’ll ensure all work is completed in line with agreed budgets, internal procedures and risk requirements. You’ll also lead client closure discussions, using these conversations to identify opportunities for additional work and referrals. Alongside managing your portfolio, you’ll play an active role in business development, developing new opportunities and contributing towards individual and wider team fee targets.

Requirements
You will be CTA qualified or hold an equivalent professional tax qualification, with significant technical expertise within their specialist area. You’ll be recognised as a thought leader within the tax market, with the credibility and experience to provide expert insight, build strong professional relationships and represent the business confidently within the wider marketplace.

A full UK driving licence is also required for this position.
