Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior – Droitwich£38,000 - £44,000 + Benefits
Clark Wood are recruiting for a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior to join an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Droitwich.
The role would suit a Personal Tax Assistant, Personal Tax Semi Senior or Personal Tax Senior with previous UK accountancy practice experience. ATT qualified, studying towards ATT/CTA or qualified by experience candidates will be considered.
Working closely with the Tax Partner, you’ll manage a varied portfolio of individuals, company directors, landlords and HNWIs, with a good mix of compliance and advisory work.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Prepare and review Self Assessment tax returns
- Deal with employment, self-employment, property and investment income
- Prepare tax computations and Capital Gains Tax calculations
- Handle day-to-day personal tax queries
- Liaise directly with clients and HMRC
- Assist with tax planning and advisory work
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Work closely with the Tax Partner and wider tax team
About You
- Previous Personal Tax experience within UK accountancy practice
- Experience as a Personal Tax Assistant, Semi Senior or Senior
- ATT qualified, studying towards ATT/CTA or QBE
- Good knowledge of UK personal tax and Self Assessment
- Experience managing or assisting with a portfolio of clients
- Confident dealing with clients and HMRC
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Keen to develop a career within Personal Tax
