Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior – Droitwich

Clark Wood are recruiting for a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Droitwich.
The role would suit a Personal Tax Assistant, Semi Senior or Senior with UK practice experience who is ATT qualified, studying towards ATT/CTA or qualified by experience.
You’ll work closely with the Tax Partner, managing a varied portfolio of individuals, company directors, landlords and HNWIs, with exposure to both compliance and advisory work.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
- Dealing with employment, self-employment, property and investment income
- Preparing tax computations and dealing with Capital Gains Tax
- Handling day-to-day personal tax queries
- Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
- Building strong client relationships
- Working closely with the Tax Partner and wider tax team
About You
- Previous Personal Tax experience within UK accountancy practice
- Experience as a Personal Tax Assistant, Semi Senior or Senior
- ATT qualified, studying ATT/CTA or QBE
- Good knowledge of UK personal tax and Self Assessment
- Experience managing or assisting with a client portfolio
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Keen to progress within Personal Tax
