Senior Tax Consultant – Brierley Hill
£35,000 - £42,000 + Study Support + Flexible Working
Clark Wood are recruiting for a Senior Tax Consultant to join an established firm of Chartered Accountants in Brierley Hill.
The role would suit a Personal Tax Senior or Tax Consultant with experience in personal tax compliance and some advisory work.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of private clients, with exposure to Personal Tax, Trust Tax, Capital Gains Tax and tax planning.
The Role

- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Preparing Self Assessment tax returns
- Preparing Trust Tax Returns and R185s
- Completing Property Returns and P11Ds
- Dealing with PAYE, NIC, CGT and IHT queries
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
- Providing residency and Statutory Residence Test advice
- Liaising with clients, trustees and HMRC
- Preparing tax calculations and remuneration comparisons
- Assisting with accounts preparation where required

About You

- 2+ years' UK accountancy practice tax experience
- Strong Personal Tax compliance experience
- Knowledge of Trust Tax, P11Ds and tax advisory
- Experience managing your own client portfolio
- Good communication and client relationship skills
- Accounts experience advantageous but not essential
