The Opportunity
An established professional services business is looking to appoint an experienced M&A Tax Manager to join its London tax advisory team.
The role would suit a corporate tax professional looking to broaden their transaction experience and take on greater responsibility across M&A, restructuring and wider tax advisory projects. It offers the opportunity to work with a varied client base, advise on commercially significant transactions and develop close relationships with senior advisers and clients. Key Responsibilities
* Advise businesses and investors on the tax considerations arising from acquisitions, disposals and restructurings.
* Support clients with tax planning around significant corporate and investment decisions.
* Work on projects involving group reorganisations, international expansion and changes to business structures.
* Take responsibility for managing assignments from planning through to completion.
* Develop trusted relationships with clients and their professional advisers.
* Work alongside colleagues across different tax and advisory disciplines.
* Contribute to business development and identify opportunities to support existing and prospective clients.
* Provide technically robust advice while maintaining a practical and commercial approach.
Candidate Required
The successful candidate is likely to have:
* A strong corporate tax background with relevant advisory experience.
* Experience of M&A, international tax or transaction-related work.
* A professional qualification such as ACA, CA, CTA or ATT, or equivalent experience.
* Strong technical ability and a desire to continue developing as a tax adviser.
* Experience managing projects, priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
* A commercially minded approach and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
