Outstanding US/UK Private Client Manager opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an experienced private client tax professional looking for a broader international role. A well-established professional services organisation is seeking a Tax Manager to join a growing team advising internationally connected individuals and families. The role offers exposure to interesting and technically challenging work, strong client relationships and the opportunity to develop expertise across different areas of personal taxation.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of private clients, overseeing complex tax compliance and providing practical advice on a range of personal and cross-border matters. They will take responsibility for reviewing work, managing deadlines and client expectations, identifying wider tax considerations and working with specialist colleagues where required. There will also be opportunities to mentor junior team members, contribute to team development and become increasingly involved in more complex advisory projects.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have five or more years' experience within professional practice, together with strong technical knowledge of US and UK taxation and experience managing sophisticated client relationships. ATT and a US tax qualification such as Enrolled Agent or CPA would be advantageous, while CTA would be desirable but is not essential. Strong communication, organisation, attention to detail and people-management skills are important, as is the confidence to take ownership of client relationships and complex assignments.
