Transfer Pricing Senior Manager - Financial Services

A leading prestigius professional services firm is seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to join its growing tax advisory practice. The opportunity would suit a commercially minded transfer pricing specialist who enjoys working with complex businesses, developing senior client relationships and taking a leading role on high-profile advisory assignments.

The successful individual will advise a portfolio of financial services organisations on a broad range of transfer pricing matters, providing practical and commercially focused solutions to complex issues. They will take ownership of significant client engagements, oversee delivery, manage stakeholders and work alongside specialists from other areas of tax and advisory.

As a senior member of the team, the role will also involve mentoring and developing colleagues, contributing to the wider direction of the practice and playing an active role in winning new work. There is considerable scope for the successful candidate to strengthen existing relationships while developing new opportunities in an increasingly important area of tax.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Significant experience in transfer pricing, ideally gained within a professional services or relevant industry environment.
* Strong experience across areas such as transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking, value chain analysis, tax authority enquiries and/or Advance Pricing Agreements.
* CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA or attained a Bachelors or Masters degree in economics, finance, law, accounting or equivalent qualification
* Previous experience working with Financial Services clients.
* Strong technical, analytical and commercial skills, with sound judgement around risk and complex issues.
* Proven experience managing client relationships and leading multi-jurisdictional projects.
* Experience coaching, developing and mentoring junior team members.
* Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
* A proactive, commercially minded approach and the confidence to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

The transfer pricing team is an established and growing part of the wider tax advisory practice, supporting clients with increasingly complex international tax matters. The team advises multinational businesses on the pricing of transactions between connected entities, helping them develop robust, commercially appropriate approaches that can be effectively documented, managed and defended. The role is available in multiple locations in the UK.
