Group Tax Manager
A rare opportunity to shape tax strategy in an international business with purpose.
International Personal Finance (IPF) helps millions of customers across Europe and Mexico access affordable credit and insurance products. While many financial institutions focus on customers who have the most options, IPF’s purpose is centred on supporting those who often have the fewest. For more than a century, the business has helped widen access to financial services through a responsible and sustainable approach to lending.
Today, IPF combines the scale and complexity of an international listed group with a culture that remains collaborative, entrepreneurial, and people-focused. Following internal career progression, IPF is now looking to appoint a Group Tax Manager to join its Leeds-based team. The role offers a rare combination of international exposure, strategic influence, and an excellent overall reward package.
The opportunity
Some tax roles are about reporting what happened yesterday. This one is about helping shape what happens next.
Joining International Personal Finance as Group Tax Manager, you’ll work across a broad range of UK and international tax matters, partnering with colleagues across finance, treasury, and overseas operations. From transfer pricing and financing structures to governance and strategic projects, the role offers the breadth, visibility, and commercial exposure that many tax professionals seek but rarely find in a single position.
What makes this role different?
• International scope: Work across multiple jurisdictions within a multinational business operating across Europe and Mexico.
• Strategic exposure: Partner with finance, treasury, and senior leadership teams on matters that support business performance and growth.
• Technical breadth: Gain exposure to a wide range of UK and international tax issues, including transfer pricing, financing, and governance.
• Commercial visibility: Contribute to discussions and decisions that extend beyond the tax function and impact the wider business.
• Career development: Build experience within a listed international group while broadening your technical and commercial expertise.
• Collaborative culture: Join a team where knowledge sharing, professional development, and relationship-building are genuinely valued.
Why join International Personal Finance?
Operating across multiple markets and jurisdictions, IPF provides the scale and breadth of an international business while remaining grounded in a purpose that extends beyond financial performance. For ambitious tax professionals, IPF offers the opportunity to develop within a collaborative business where technical expertise and commercial thinking are equally valued.
Package & benefits
In addition to a competitive base salary, IPF offers a comprehensive benefits package:
• Car allowance: £6,000
• Annual bonus: Up to 25%
• Pension: 10% employer contribution
• Medical: Private medical insurance with family cover
• Income protection: Private Health Insurance (50% salary protection for five years)
