As an Employment Tax Senior Manager within this team, you will lead on business development and be expected to deliver exceptional client service. This is a London based role. You'll play a pivotal role in advising on high-profile transactions, managing technically demanding projects, and driving growth in a supportive, forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead employment tax advisory and compliance projects across diverse sectors.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth.
* Manage complex consulting engagements, ensuring technical excellence and practical solutions.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Stay ahead of technical developments and industry trends, sharing insights with clients and colleagues.
About You
* Significant experience in employment tax within consultancy, legal, or large corporate environments.
* Strong technical knowledge of key employment tax issues, including:
* Expenses & Benefits (PSAs, P11Ds)
* Employment Status (IR35)
* Payroll (PAYE, RTI, audits)
* Termination Payments, CIS, NMW
* HMRC audits and disclosures
* Proven track record in business development and project delivery.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
* ATT and/or CTA qualifications (or equivalent) preferred.
This role could be based in London, Reading, Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester. The team works on a national basis.
