This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager or an existing Manager to join a highly regarded organisation and build an in-house career in global mobility tax.
Working alongside an experienced Senior Manager who knows the business inside out, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of UK and international mobility issues while being supported to develop your commercial, technical and stakeholder management skills.
From international assignments and remote working requests to payroll, social security and cross-border compliance, you'll play a key role in helping the business manage its globally mobile workforce.
What you'll be doing
* Advising on international secondments, business travel, cross-border and remote working arrangements.
* Assessing UK PAYE, NIC and overseas payroll obligations.
* Reviewing double tax treaty, STBV and social security positions, including A1 and CoC requirements.
* Supporting the management of permanent establishment and corporate tax risks.
* Partnering with HR, business leaders and external advisers to deliver practical, commercial solutions.
* Supporting global mobility compliance, including shadow payroll and Appendix 4 and 8 reporting.
* Improving processes, guidance and reporting for internationally mobile populations.
About You
* Significant experience in global mobility tax alongside a tax qualification.
* Currently operating at Assistant Manager or Manager.
* Strong technical foundation combined with a commercial mindset.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management expertise.
* Excited by the opportunity to make a successful move from practice into industry.
This role will be based in Scotland and offers hybrid working.
