Clark Wood, specialists in Accountancy & Tax recruitment, are partnering with a highly reputable firm of accountants in Cardiff who, due to continued growth and success, are now seeking an ambitious Personal Tax Semi Senior to join their Cardiff office.

As a Personal Tax Semi Senior, you will work with a diverse range of personal tax clients, including HNWIs, company directors, and sole traders. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and efficient completion of compliance work through the preparation of personal tax computations and returns.

The ideal candidate will be ATT Part Qualified or Fully Qualified, with significant experience in Personal Tax. 

Working in this progressive and well-regarded firm, you will have ample opportunities for career development. The firm offers study support for the successful candidate to complete the ATT and progress to the CTA qualification and can offer hybrid working to assist with a good work life balance.

Duties, Responsibilities & Skills:

- Personal tax return preparation and UK tax compliance knowledge
- Attention to detail and accuracy in tax computations and reporting
- Strong organisational and workload management skills
- Ability to meet performance targets and KPIs
- Client communication and relationship management
- Problem-solving and issue escalation skills
- Proficiency with tax and performance management software
- Teamwork and collaboration in a shared-service environment
- Understanding of tax legislation and regulatory changes
- Process improvement and efficiency-focused mindset
- Risk awareness and ability to identify potential compliance issues
- Time management and ability to work to deadlines
