Personal Tax Senior / Assistant Manager | Edinburgh | £DOE 

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers in Edinburgh who are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior / Assistant Manager to join their established and growing tax team.

The Role

You will take ownership of a portfolio of HNWIs and private clients, with responsibilities including:

- Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and private clients
- Acting as the main point of contact for allocated clients
- Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
- Managing personal tax compliance deadlines and submissions
- Delivering high-quality, review-ready work with minimal supervision
- Supporting personal tax advisory assignments where required
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
- Working closely with Partners and senior team members on complex matters

About You

- ATT / CTA Qualified or Qualified by Experience
- Strong personal tax experience gained within an accountancy practice
- Comfortable managing client relationships independently
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
