Your new role

As a VAT Director based in Leeds, you will take a leading role in delivering high‑quality VAT advisory services to a wide range of clients, including mid‑market businesses, large corporates and not‑for‑profit organisations.You will:

* Lead complex and high‑value VAT advisory projects.
* Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.
* Guide, mentor and support VAT specialists within the team.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to drive growth initiatives across the region.
* Represent the firm in external engagements and networking opportunities.

This is a senior strategic role with significant influence over client delivery, team development and the continued expansion of the VAT offering.

What you'll need to succeed

* Extensive experience in UK VAT, ideally gained in a professional services or consultancy environment.
* Proven capability in handling complex advisory work and managing client portfolios.
* Strong technical knowledge with the ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* A proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business development.
* Experience leading and developing teams.
* CTA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
