Corporate Tax Manager - Pathway to Partner

I am currently working with a highly respected independent accountancy firm that is investing in long-term succession planning within its corporate tax function. They are looking for an ambitious Corporate Tax Manager looking for more than just a compliance position, someone who wants to influence, take ownership of large transactions and advisory projects and a clear route to senior leadership.

This is a newly created position to work and learn directly with the corporate tax partner, share responsibility for complex advisory work, build a strong relationship with an established client base and show how the corporate tax services are delivered. You won't be maintaining a function, you will be helping to shape and grow it.

The Role:
You will be working closely with the partner on high-value advisory projects and transaction work including:

* Group restructures and reorganisations
* International tax matters
* Acquisitions and disposals
* Group tax relief, capital allowances
* Strategic planning for growing corporations

Additionally, you will:

* Act as a trusted advisor to existing clients
* Develop your own advisory portfolio
* Enhance audit/tax collaboration
* Support in upskilling and coaching team members as the team expands

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience within corporate tax
* ATT or CTA qualified
* Experience with corporate tax advisory and complex compliance work
* Confident with group structures, transactions and international tax
* Comfortable building client relationships
* Able to communicate complex tax issues clearly
