You'll work closely with the newly appointed Head of Tax and play a pivotal role in a major transformation project to rebuild and grow the tax team. This is a unique opportunity to influence strategy, drive change, and make a lasting impact on the direction of the function.

What You'll Be Doing

* Stay ahead of global indirect tax developments and advise on business impact
* Lead risk management initiatives and identify cash-saving opportunities
* Manage HMRC and international tax authority communications, audits, and enquiries
* Partner with cross-functional teams to support new ventures and ensure accurate VAT reporting
* Collaborate with the VAT compliance lead to implement legislative changes
* Deliver engaging VAT training and promote tax awareness across the business
* Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and wider organisation

What We're Looking For

* Extensive experience in indirect tax advisory
* Strong knowledge of UK and international VAT, ideally within retail or e-commerce
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
