Senior Tax Manager DACH region (Hanau)

This is an innovative, multi-billion euro multinational company working in material sciences strives to be the world leader in materials for clean mobility and recycling.

Germany is a critically important country with many fully fledged businesses in the group. As Head of the DACH region, you lead and manage all German tax matters (income tax, audits, planning, structuring, M&A support), serve as the senior contact for tax authorities and external advisors and drive tax strategy. The role has one direct report also based in Hanau.

There is a significant amount of business partnerships, such as with major German multinational companies, greenfield investments, joint ventures, with tax structuring to carve out parts of the business.

The Hanau office has over 1000 people, including finance and tax colleagues, as well as a gym, two excellent canteens, parking, etc. Typically, employees are in the office three days per week and two days from home.

This is a great move for a corporate tax professional with around 8+ years of experience, who enjoys partnering with the business, managing projects and taking ownership. There is a lot of support but also a lot of room to take your own initiative.
