Our client is one of the largest media multinationals and is searching for a Tax Accountant to join the established tax team in London.
As a Tax Accountant, you will report directly to the Tax Director and work alongside a supportive tax team. A few of your responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the UK tax compliance process for 50+ entities, including preparation/review of accounts provisions, tax disclosures and UK tax returns
* Assisting with ongoing coordination of the outsourced international tax compliance in respect of 100+ entities worldwide
* Coordination of BEPS compliance incl. preparation of CbCr data and notifications
* Dealing with HMRC correspondence, notices, etc. and following up as appropriate
* Allocation of UK group losses and calculation of quarterly installment payments
* Assistance with UK Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) calculations
* Preparation/review of quarterly and annual US GAAP tax reporting
* Preparation / maintenance of tax calculation templates, FIN48 and SOX404 documentation
* Preparation/analysis of group summaries by business line and by territory
* Review and understanding differences between US and UK GAAP
* Coordination and review of Creative Industries tax credits and R&D expenditure credits
* Preparation and coordination of tax clearances applications (to receive royalty payments at reduced rates of WHT)
To be considered for this position, you should be ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified with corporate tax and tax accounting experience. This role is open to both in-house professionals and candidates from a Big 4/Top 20 firm background. The Tax Director is looking for someone who is proactive, willing to take the lead on projects, and able to communicate effectively.

This opportunity will pay up to £60,000 plus discretionary bonus and benefits. The team follow a hybrid of 3 days in the central London office.
