An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Audit & Reporting Senior Manager to join a leading professional services organisation. This dynamic and forward-thinking team supports multinational groups and financial services clients in managing their global tax compliance, reporting, and statutory accounting obligations through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation, and the use of advanced technology.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. The successful candidate will be part of a specialist group responsible for delivering complex tax audit and reporting solutions, ensuring the highest standards of audit quality and compliance. They will also play a key role in helping clients transform their tax operations for the digital future.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax compliance and reporting engagements.
* Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor across multiple sectors.
* Oversee the delivery of UK and global compliance outsourcing contracts.
* Provide technical tax input and advice on audit, reporting, and compliance issues.
* Identify and implement opportunities to enhance compliance efficiency, governance and use of technology.
* Support business development by contributing to proposals and identifying new client opportunities.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture.
* Support clients with group and statutory tax reporting requirements under IFRS and US GAAP.

About You

This role would suit a proactive, commercially minded tax professional with a passion for quality, innovation and leadership.

Essential skills and experience:

* Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and compliance processes.
* Proven experience managing large and complex client portfolios.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience in project management, ideally within large or global tax compliance engagements.
* The ability to manage risk, deliver results, and coach others effectively.

Desirable skills:

* Experience in tax reporting and advisory work.
* Familiarity with transformation, technology enablement, or managed service delivery.
* Relevant qualifications such as ACA, CTA, ATT, or equivalent (qualified by experience also considered).
* Additional credentials such as Lean Six Sigma or Project Management certification are advantageous.
