Group VAT Manager, Consumer Goods business, London

BLT are delighted to have been recommended to lead the search for this Group VAT Manager role in London. It's that classic mix of Indirect Tax advisory/strategy plus compliance oversight and some tech/process transformation - and you'll be joining at an exciting time in the company's evolution. Largely UK/European in scope, there's also potential for further business growth internationally. The team and environment sounds great too! Here’s some of what you’ll be doing:

● Leading the development and delivery of the Group’s VAT strategy, compliance and governance framework, balancing hands-on delivery with strategic leadership.
● Anticipate and plan for legislative change and industry developments and digital tax trends to futureproof the tax function.
● Oversee the timely submission of UK/European VAT returns, and lead and drive end-to-end process improvement.
● Champion the use of data analytics, digital tools and ERP capabilities to enhance VAT accuracy, visibility and insight.

This role requires strong VAT leadership and superb business partnering skills with proven skills gained in multinationals or complex organisations in the consumer goods field. It’s open to both those working in-house and those at Senior Manager level looking to move from professional services, whether qualified or qualified by experience.
