Your new role

As an Employment Taxes Assistant Manager or Manager, you'll join a thriving service line, working across a broad range of clients and sectors. You'll be involved in both technical advisory and compliance projects, including:

* PAYE/NIC health checks and reporting
* HMRC Employer Compliance reviews and disclosures
* Employment status and IR35 assessments
* Annual compliance (P11D, PSA)
* Advice on benefits, expenses, and salary sacrifice arrangements
* Due diligence support for M&A activity
* Construction Industry Scheme reviews
* Termination payments and cross-border employment tax issues

You'll also contribute to the development of junior team members and work closely with the wider tax team to deliver integrated solutions. Whether you're an experienced Senior Associate, Assistant Manager, or Manager, you'll be supported to grow and thrive in a role tailored to your level.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

* Minimum 3 years' experience (Assistant Manager) or 4 years' experience (Manager) in Employment Taxes, gained in practice, HMRC, or industry
* CTA and/or ACA qualified (preferred but not essential)
* Strong technical knowledge across employment tax areas
* Experience dealing directly with clients and intermediaries
* Excellent project and time management skills
* A collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring junior staff
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying tax risks and opportunities
* Legal right to work in the UK and relevant UK tax experience
