Pure Search are exclusively partnered with a UK headquartered technology company looking to hire a Tax Manager to support the teams growth plans heading into 2026.
This role provides direct support to the Head of Tax in managing all tax-related matters across a diverse international group. The position involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders and exposure to a wide range of tax areas and jurisdictions, including several European countries as well as operations in Asia.
The role offers excellent scope for professional development, particularly for someone aspiring to progress into a Head of Tax or Tax Director position in the future. While broad awareness of tax matters is important, candidates with varying technical specialisms will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Governance
* Assist in enhancing and maintaining the group's tax governance framework, ensuring compliance with internal control and reporting requirements.
* Contribute to policy documentation and process improvements related to tax oversight and assurance.
Advisory Support
* Work closely with the Head of Tax on strategic projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
* Support the design and implementation of transfer pricing operating models.
* Assist with managing tax authority reviews, audits, and investigations.
Compliance and Reporting
* Oversee outsourced compliance processes across all entities, coordinating with local finance teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
* Prepare and review tax disclosures and related notes for statutory accounts, and manage queries from external auditors.
* Produce regular tax analysis and insights for management reporting.
* Liaise with external advisors to provide required data for global compliance and reporting obligations.
* Coordinate the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation with external partners.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* ACA/ACCA/CTA qualfieid
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in international tax, ideally in a multinational or professional services environment.
* Strong background in tax accounting and reporting.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and geographies.
* Exposure to indirect taxes (e.g., VAT) is an advantage but not essential.
* Hands-on approach and willingness to engage with the full spectrum of tax activities, from governance to operational detail.
The role is paying up to £90,000 + 15% bonus, based in London 2 days per week.
