Are you an experienced Private Client Tax professional looking to take the next step in your career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager to join a well-established professional services firm with a strong and growing presence in Manchester.

This role offers the chance to work with a diverse and prestigious client portfolio, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, shareholders and internationally based clients. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering top-quality tax advisory services, driving business growth and supporting the development of a talented team.

The Role

* Manage and nurture strong client relationships across a varied and sophisticated portfolio.
* Develop new business opportunities by expanding networks and identifying leads for advisory work.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across different service lines to provide joined-up advice, particularly in the context of corporate transactions.
* Assess complex personal tax positions and develop tailored, innovative solutions.
* Take ownership of projects, ensuring the smooth delivery and implementation of tax advice.
* Oversee financial aspects of assignments including WIP management and billing.
* Mentor, coach and support junior team members, helping to grow the local practice.

About You

* Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent) with strong personal/private client tax experience.
* Expertise in areas such as shareholder tax planning, transactions, tax reliefs (e.g. BADR, BPR) and international tax planning.
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to engage confidently with business owners, senior executives and shareholders.
* Proven track record of building long-term, trusted client relationships.
* Energetic, driven and collaborative, with a natural ability to lead.
* A proactive self-starter who seizes market opportunities and contributes to business growth.
