Senior Manager - Private Client Tax

The Role
This is a high-impact, client-facing role offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and family offices. You'll lead the delivery of complex personal tax advisory work, manage a team of talented professionals, and play a key role in shaping the future of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the delivery of bespoke personal tax advisory projects and reports.
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, including high-net-worth individuals and partnerships.
* Managing a varied portfolio with multiple sources of income and complex tax affairs.
* Overseeing UK tax return filings and capital gains tax matters.
* Mentoring and developing junior team members, including technical training and soft skills coaching.
* Supporting senior leadership in business development and process improvement initiatives.
About You
* CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical expertise in private client tax.
* Proven experience advising on complex tax issues including IHT planning, trusts, and anti-avoidance legislation.
* Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex tax matters for non-experts.
* Experience managing and reviewing the work of others, with a collaborative leadership style.
* Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client engagement and internal efficiency.
Desirable Experience:
* Working with UK and non-UK domiciled clients, including non-resident trusts.
* Advising property-owning clients using corporate structures and trusts.
* Handling HMRC enquiries and negotiations.
* Delivering presentations and contributing to pitches and proposals.
