Group Tax Manager, FMCG, London, to £120k + bens

Your new company:

An outstanding opportunity to work in a newly created role for this international FMCG business. The business has grown substantially over the last couple of years and now requires an experienced tax professional to cover the following.

Your new role:

* Multi-country tax compliance & governance: expertise in direct and indirect compliance in Europe and North America with local support;
* Transfer Pricing: policy definition, management of intercompany flows of goods/services, documentation (Master File and Local File), audit support;
* VAT / Indirect Taxes & Customs: VAT supervision, customs compliance (classification, origin, import/export), green taxes;
* Management of external tax advisors in the various countries, integration of their outputs into business decisions;
* Business partnering with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure compliance and support for the business model;
* Support for extraordinary transactions (M&A, restructuring, intercompany reorganizations);
* Tax reporting & planning: ETR, cash tax forecasting, CbCR, Pillar 2 / BEPS 2.0 implementation (optional).

What you'll need to succeed:

* 7-10 years of experience in international tax roles gained in either a multinational with comparable geographical presence or consulting firms / Big Four (EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte) or other firms (Grant Thornton, Mazars.) + relevant corporate experience
* Solid knowledge in at least one European tax system, with multi-jurisdictional exposure (ideal: EU + North America)
* Direct experience in: Tax, VAT/Indirect, Transfer Pricing; Customs (optional)
* Ability to manage external tax firms/advisors in multiple countries
* Popular job titles: ACA/ACCA/CTA (UK)
* Strong focus on compliance and mitigation of tax risks
* Ability to synthesize and communicate effectively with internal and external interlocutors
* Organized approach, management of priorities and deadlines
* International mindset, flexibility and collaborative spirit
