Pure Search are exclusively partnered with a UK headquartered technology company looking to hire a Tax Compliance & Reporting Senior Manager. This is a fully remote role paying up to £130,000 + bonus.
Responsibilities:
* Lead global tax reporting and compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions.
* Oversee outsourced tax compliance providers and bring activities in-house where appropriate.
* Manage preparation and review of tax provisions, disclosures, forecasts, and payments at both entity and group level.
* Coordinate year-end audit, consolidation, and quarterly reporting requirements under UK and international frameworks.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including UK corporate tax requirements and global tax regimes.
* Strengthen internal controls, streamline finance and tax processes, and drive automation initiatives.
* Provide technical advice on compliance, advisory, and ad hoc tax matters, including M&A projects.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisers, and regional finance teams.
* Monitor and report on tax risks, governance obligations, and strategy publications.
* Keep tax knowledge current and proactively implement process and system improvements.
Applicant Requirements:
* Experience: International tax reporting and compliance experience, gained within industry and/or a major accounting firm at Senior Manager or Director level
* Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax rules and compliance requirements, with proven experience in tax risk assessment.
* Tax accounting skills: Solid background in tax accounting and the ability to support, guide, and train wider Finance colleagues where appropriate.
* Data and systems analysis: Capable of independently sourcing, scrutinizing, and interpreting financial data and systems to provide proactive insights to the tax function.
* Global tax compliance oversight: Experienced in managing and overseeing multiple international tax compliance obligations, including coordinating with external advisors and regional Finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across jurisdictions.
* Personal qualities: A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a commercial mindset.
