Your new role
This job has been newly created within the team and therefore would be a crucial position for ensuring that the company adheres to all tax regulations and accurately reports its financial activities. The job will involve leading the preparation of the tax provisions, managing the outsourced tax compliance and driving process improvements across corporate tax. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders across and beyond the North West, you'll be the go-to person for reporting, mitigation and planning to ensure efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement across the group.

What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for a technically strong, CTA-qualified tax professional with experience in tax reporting and compliance, ideally gained in industry. You'll bring deep knowledge of IFRS, UK corporate tax and indirect taxes. Alongside this, you'll have strong analytical skills and have the confidence to manage external tax service providers. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential for this role as you'll build relationships across the group. An ambitious, collaborative and confident leader will flourish in this job.
