You're an experienced Senior Manager or Associate Director in the US tax sector.
You’ve done the hours - Big 4, mid-tier or in-house. Long hours, endless reviews, not much say in what happens next.
This is different.
We’re working with a fast-growing and boutique 12-person US tax firm in London. No private equity. No bloated hierarchy.
They’re hiring a US Corporate Tax Associate Director or Director to help lead their corporate and funds tax group. This isn’t just a review-and-sign role. It’s a proper leadership position - with space to shape the team, the client work, and your own career.
What you’ll actually be doing:
● Reviewing corporate and partnership tax returns, and handling the trickier ones yourself when needed
● Owning client relationships and solving real technical problems
● Scoping, budgeting, and steering delivery on advisory work
● Mentoring x2 juniors (without doing their jobs for them)
● What’s different here:
● No red tape. No endless sign-off chains.
● A team of ex-Big 4 CPAs and US attorneys who came here for something better
● Interesting work, with international clients and complex structures
● A leadership team that leads, not micromanages
● Real career progression - based on impact, not box-ticking
