Private Client Tax Assistant Manager

* The role is part of a strategic expansion of the existing private client team.

Your new role

* Manage a portfolio of complex private clients in collaboration with client-facing partners.
* Handle both compliance and advisory matters, including identifying planning opportunities.
* Prepare tax returns personally for your portfolio.
* Provide technical support and review work of junior team members.
* Occasionally assist senior colleagues with advisory projects.
* No staff management responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

* Self-starter with an enquiring mind and proactive approach.
* Strong technical tax knowledge; CTA preferred but not essential.
* Experience with private client OMB issues (e.g. shareholder and employment tax).
* UK trust experience and understanding of accounts are highly beneficial.
* Familiarity with international tax issues (residence, domicile, new regime) is a plus.
