Group VAT Manager (newly created role)

We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, private equity-backed group for a Group VAT Manager. This is a newly created opportunity within a strong finance function, offering a focus on VAT across multiple jurisdictions, with the added benefit of gaining exposure to corporate tax and transfer pricing.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Tax, you'll lead VAT compliance and advisory across Europe. You'll work closely with local finance teams, manage audits, support new product launches, and drive process improvements.

You'll also assist with corporate tax filings and help embed the group's transfer pricing policy, ideal for someone looking to expand their wider tax expertise in a supportive, international environment.

What We're Looking For

* 5-7 years' VAT experience (practice or in-house) with strong technical knowledge of VAT.
* Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
* A willingness to learn, adapt, and take on a variety of tasks is essential.
* Proficient in financial systems and comfortable working with ERP systems.
* Clear communicator, confident working cross-functionally.
