Corporate Tax Manager

An international retail group is searching for a Corporate Tax Manager to join the tax team in London.

As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will report to and work closely with the Head of Tax on a broad range of direct tax matters.

Some of your responsibilities include:

* Completion of all UK corporate tax computations and returns, which is partly done in-house
* Assisting with the preparation of year end and interim tax workings, journals and disclosures, working closely with the Head of Tax and Finace team;
* Liaising with external auditors to ensure timely completion of year end and half year reported tax numbers;
* Assistance with the implementation of the OECD BEPS Pillar Two rules;
* Preparing calculations for UK&I corporate tax payments and ensuring payments are accurately budgeted for and tracked;

* Supporting the Head of Tax with SAO obligations.

* Advising the business of global tax implications of transactions and influence decision makers to optimise tax efficiency;
* Advising the Group on tax efficient ways of setting up new businesses and liquidating / dissolving companies;
* Preparation of Group's Country by Country (CbCR) submissions to HMRC including managing overseas notification requirements.
* Preparation of Group transfer pricing calculations, working with UK and overseas finance teams;

To be considered for this position, you should be ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified with corporate tax and tax accounting experience. The Head of Tax is looking for someone who is proactive, willing to take the lead on projects, and able to communicate effectively.

This opportunity will pay £80,000-£90,000, £4,000 cash allowance, and a discretionary bonus and benefits. The team follow a hybrid of 3 days in the office.
