This role will focus on overseeing direct tax compliance and advisory work across a diverse and growing international group of businesses.
You'll play a key role in ensuring tax obligations are met efficiently and strategically, contributing to both compliance and planning efforts on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end tax compliance process across multiple international markets.
* Deliver timely and accurate corporate tax filings, working with both internal teams and external advisors.
* Collaborate with finance, legal, and commercial stakeholders on tax planning and reporting activities.
* Support the preparation of tax disclosures for financial reporting under international accounting standards.
* Contribute to ongoing tax projects, including R&D claims, BEPS-related reporting, and capital allowance optimisation.
* Handle tax queries from across the organisation and provide practical, business-focused advice.
* Maintain professional relationships with local tax authorities and assist in regulatory correspondence or audit engagements.
* Build awareness of tax issues across functions and foster compliance best practices group-wide.
* Participate in tax forecasting and contribute to the group's broader financial strategy.
Ideal Background
* Chartered tax advisor or qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience, ideally including time in an in-house tax function.
* Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, international tax compliance, and tax accounting (IFRS).
* Solid understanding of evolving global tax regulations, including BEPS, CBCR, and controlled foreign company regimes.
* Ability to simplify complex tax issues for non-specialist audiences.
* Experience leading cross-functional projects and supporting junior team members.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident working with stakeholders across business units and jurisdictions.
