About the Role
The Business Tax Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, managing both compliance and advisory matters while ensuring exceptional service delivery. Additionally, they will proactively identify new business opportunities, keeping the Partner informed about potential prospects and growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and managing client relationships, providing expert tax advice and ensuring compliance across complex cases.
* Overseeing the development, management, and mentorship of junior staff, fostering professional growth and performance improvement.
* Taking responsibility for compliance processes, ensuring strict adherence to HMRC regulations and best practices.
* Driving business development efforts, identifying opportunities to expand client services and contribute to the firm's growth strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Significant corporate tax experience within a professional services environment.
* Proven ability to deliver strategic tax advisory services across a diverse client base.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring teams.
* A proactive and commercially focused approach to business development.
* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent.
