About the Role
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing both compliance and advisory matters. Additionally, they will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, ensuring the Partner is informed about potential prospects with existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, managing a portfolio of complex cases with both compliance and advisory elements.
* Leading and mentoring junior team members, offering guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
* Ensuring compliance processes are executed in accordance with HMRC regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
* Extensive corporate tax experience within a professional services environment.
* A proven track record of providing strategic tax advice on complex matters.
* Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience managing and developing junior staff.
* A proactive approach to business development and client engagement.
* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent.
