Job Title: Capital Allowances Assistant Manager
Location: Scotland (Flexible - Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Capital Allowances Assistant Manager to join a leading Big 4 firm in Scotland.
This position is ideal for individuals with strong capital allowances experience, whether they currently specialise in the field or have gained relevant exposure in a broader tax role. The successful candidate will work with a variety of high-profile clients, providing expert advice and support on capital allowances claims.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients across multiple sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, and renewable energy, on capital allowances matters.
* Preparing and reviewing capital allowance claims, identifying opportunities to maximise tax relief.
* Offering bespoke advice on the tax treatment of capital expenditure and property transactions.
* Collaborating with teams across corporate tax, real estate, and advisory services to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
* Managing and mentoring junior staff, providing technical guidance and support to aid their development.
The Ideal Candidate:
* ATT/ACA/CTA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with strong experience in capital allowances.
* A deep technical understanding of tax legislation concerning capital allowances.
