Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

Your new role

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, covering both compliance and advisory work. The client is also willing to tailor the role 100% to your needs of either compliance or advisory. You will also have the opportunity to work on special projects such as R&D tax relief, patent box, share schemes, restructuring, SAO reporting and international tax. You will supervise and review the work of junior staff and liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure high quality and timely delivery of services. You will also contribute to the business development and marketing activities of the firm.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax adviser (ATT/CTA) with relevant corporate tax experience. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues. You will have a proactive and flexible approach and the willingness to learn and develop your technical and commercial skills. You will also have a keen interest in the wider issues affecting the corporate tax environment.
