This is a highly recognisable and leading international retail group who are looking to recruit an experienced Corporate & Group Tax Manager to further expand and enhance their tax operation in the UK HQ. The role reports to an experienced Corporate Tax Director in their highly modern and recognisable Lancashire HQ, with hybrid working and a great range of additional benefits available. Your new role
This is an opportunity to join a large and growing business within the UK, and offers excellent exposure to a wide range of UK and international corporate/group tax matters. The role will play an important role in supporting the business with its corporate tax obligations, covering compliance and advisory matters. You will provide assistance with managing the corporate tax compliance process, including quarterly and annual group reporting, financial statement disclosures and corporate interest calculations. You will also manage a variety of other tax matters such as the group tax risk framework, transfer pricing, country-by country reporting, and supporting on M&A transactions, and wider international tax.

What you'll need to succeed

* A recognised accounting qualification, such as ACCA, ATT, ACA and/or CTA qualification.
* Experience within a reputable accountancy practice, ideally working with large clients turning over £100m++.
* Strong knowledge of corporate tax, ideally working for large companies & groups.
* Knowledge of broader taxes such as transfer pricing, M&A, tax strategies and more.
* Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
