Head of Direct Tax, Fully Remote Role, to £120k + bonus up to 30%

A role has arisen for an experienced Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director to join as a Head of Direct Tax in an established tax team. Reporting to the Group Tax Director, you will form part of the Tax Leadership team and lead a team of 3. The role will have a bias towards compliance and reporting but will still have responsibility for advisory and business partnering work.

Key responsibilities include:

* Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of UK and Ireland CT compliance and oversight of the group's tax status in its key international jurisdictions
* Responsible for accurate reporting of CT results; review and delivery of accounting and reporting processes for tax, and preparation of the year end IFRS tax disclosures for the annual report
* Ensuring compliance with worldwide transfer pricing and BEPS obligations, including new Pillar II considerations

* Lead relationship with HMRC
* Advisory support on large and complex contracts, internal restructuring projects, international business opportunities and M&A transactions.
