Tax Junior - Private Client

Your new company
A small firm in the City of London who are experienced private client taxation professionals are looking to grow their firm. Having had new clients added to the portfolio, they are looking for a new junior to join their team and grow with the firm. Having placed with them in the past, and that placement still being theirs, they are a solid and stable team of professionals who will help with your training and development, while not pigeonholing you.

Your new role
This role is open due to the firm growing with new clients adding to their portfolio. Having placed the last addition to the team, we are very happy and proud to be representing them again on this role. The role is aimed at someone with some experience in taxation, while still having lots to learn. Offering the successful candidate the CTA qualification through them, this is a great opportunity for someone to grow within a small firm due to the excess ammount of exposure you will get in this role from the beginning. Being very close to a major tube line, the commute into the office will be easy for most people. In this role you will be monitoring deadlines, dealing with payrolls (6 monthly runs at present), VAT returns, drafting corporate tax returns and more.

What you'll need to succeed

* Ideally, you will have around 6 months of UK taxation exposure.
* Have a keen eye for detail.
* Having good IT skills - using Excell, Word, Outlook. Ideally, having kills in Xero, Quickbooks and Sage will be beneficial.
* Have initiative and an enthusiastic and hands-on mindset.
