Our client is a household name searching for a Part-Qualified Tax Accountant to join the in-house tax team in Slough.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to kickstart your in-house career early. You will report to the Head of Direct Tax and be supported by the wider finance team. Some of your responsibilities include:
* Work with the advisors to prepare and review the UK corporate tax returns.
* Assist with compiling the IFRS tax disclosures for financial statements and ensuring individual group entity taxes are accounted.
* Assist the wider team with various project/advisory work e.g. R&D claims.
There is scope for you to progress in this role and take a step up once you have completed your studies.
To be considered for this position, you will ideally be towards the end of your CTA/ACCA/ACA qualification with approximately 2 years of UK corporate tax experience. Exposure to other tax matters like Patent Box and R&D will be advantageous but not a strict requirement.
In return, you will receive a salary package of £35,000-£50,000 depending on experience plus a 15% discretionary bonus and a host of benefits. You will also be provided with study support to help you towards your CTA which includes courses with Kaplan or BPP. The team follow a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office.
