Corporate Tax Manager

Brewer Morris are delighted to be partnered with this well known financial institution to help secure their new Corporate Tax Manager. You'll be part of a dynamic and forward thinking tax team who are looking to hire a like minded individual. You'll play a pivitol role in the EMEA tax team looking after the compliance and reporting for a large number of jurisdictions. The role will also involve a sizeable amount of advisory and project work to take the lead on.

Duties:

- Manage corporate income tax compliance and reporting within the UK and EMEA.

- Drive innovation and process efficiency improvements, ensuring tax operations are at the forefront of excellence.

- Collaborate across various teams, delivering on projects and managing risk effectively.

- Develop and mentor staff, offering technical and non-technical training and support.

- Responsibility for the corporate tax compliance and reporting for the EMEA regions

- Calculate deferred tax accounting entries, have oversight of tax disclosures in financial statements
- Liaise with tax authorities and relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

* An experienced UK Corporate Tax specialist
* International experience is beneficial but not essential
* Qualified accountant (including ACCA/CIMA/CA or ATT/CTA) or Qualified by experience
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to liaise with a range of stakeholders
* Applicants must be able to work 3 days a week in the Glasgow City Centre office
