They are currently seeking an experienced and strategic International Tax Senior Manager/ Director to join their dynamic team in London.

Position Overview: This hire will be a key leader within the tax practice, responsible for providing expert guidance on international tax matters to their diverse clientele. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of global tax regulations, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality international tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Advisory:

* Serve as a trusted advisor to multinational clients, providing strategic guidance on international tax planning, compliance, and risk management.
* Conduct thorough analyses of clients' international tax structures, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
* Keep abreast of global tax developments and advise clients on their potential impact.

Leadership and Team Management:

* Lead and develop a team of international tax professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on complex international tax issues.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and contribute to professional development plans for team members.

Business Development:

* Play a key role in business development activities, including client acquisition, retention, and expansion.
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services within the UK portfolio.
* Represent the client at industry events and contribute to marketing efforts.

Strategic Planning:

* Contribute to the development of the international tax strategy
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
* Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance the firm's international tax service offerings.

Technical Expertise:

* Stay current with changes in international tax laws and regulations.
* Provide thought leadership within the firm and contribute to the development of technical resources.
* Review and sign off on high-level international tax engagements.

Qualifications:

* Professional qualification in taxation (e.g., CTA, CPA, or equivalent).
* Extensive experience in international tax advisory at a senior level.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Strong technical expertise in international taxation and a track record of handling complex client issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
