Tax Manager - Medical Specialism - Central Manchester

Our client is a rapidly expanding independent accountancy firm with a strong history of advising clients in the medical profession. As part of the next stage of their development they seek and experienced tax professional to help mould and develop a team of more junior staff. In this role you will:
• Provide all round tax advice to GPs, consultants and medical practices.
• Manage a team of more junior staff.
• Manage the tax compliance process for clients including review of tax returns.
• Work with the director to promote the firm’s services to clients and targets at client pitches, seminars and by blogging or writing marketing materials.
• Helping GP’s, consultants and locums them plan and save for their tax liabilities.
• Advising on permitted expense deductions to optimise tax relief such as subscriptions, professional fees etc.
• Establishing and optimising their NHS Pension tiered rate.
• Liaise with HMRC and help clients with any enquiries.

This role would suit someone with a background in personal or mixed tax who enjoys building long-term client relationships. Ideally you will work at least partly from the office in central Manchester. Full time or 4 day week considered.
