Interim Tax Manager

A leading logistics company, based in Central London are currently looking for an Interim Tax Manager to help with year-end. This role is to join a well-established team ensuring tax compliance across the group, minimising tax risk and working closely with the wider finance team on ad hoc enquiries. Covering a variety of responsibilities, this opportunity will assist in the implementation of tax strategy and planning, alongside corporate tax compliance duties.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and filling of tax returns
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial records and documents to identify tax liabilities and opportunities for tax savings
- Work closely with senior finance management on implementation of tax strategy, liaising closely with other teams within the business to
ensure synergy.
- Forge and maintain close relationships with HMRC and external advisors.

Requirements:

- ACA/CTA/ACCA qualified from a Top Tier practice or commercial background.
- Strong attention to detail backed up with up to date technical knowledge on current and future legislation.
- Good communication skills, able to quickly build relationships and ensuring clarity to non-tax personnel.
