Indirect Tax Compliance Accountant/ Manager

Indirect tax compliance job requires a VAT Manager or VAT Accountant who has VAT/indirect tax compliance experience for this interim VAT job.

Joining the indirect tax team of this PLC, the role is to start in mid-January for a 6-9 months period, supporting whilst a finance transformation takes place.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Prepare and review VAT returns for the UK and European entities.
* Reconcile VAT-related accounts and resolve discrepancies.
* Approve journals
* Generate VAT reports for internal stakeholders and external entities.
* Liaise with auditors on VAT audits.Support on IPT and other indirect tax requirements.

To be considered for this role you will have a hands on experience in managing indirect tax compliance processes, having prepared and reviewed VAT returns for UK and European countries. The successful applicant will have either an earlier accounting career from which VAT has been built upon, or a VAT accounting background, so that there is a solid understanding of ledgers, journals and the hands on workings of VAT compliance.
