Head of Tax, Fast Paced UK Head Quartered Group, London, to £140k

This fast paced, growing UK head quartered Group are recruiting for a Head of Tax to lead the tax function through the next phase of their journey. The Group has a number of high profile projects in the pipeline in what will prove to be an exciting few years.

Reporting to the FD and managing one direct report you will have ownership over all aspects of tax including compliance, reporting, tax risk management and strategy. Key responsibilities include:

* Partnering with the business including covering major transactions (restructurings, prospective acquisitions and funding), as well as day to day operational tax queries (VAT rates, business contracts etc)
* Develop tax strategy and risk management plan, with a focus on SAO readiness and tax process improvements through technology
* Management of compliance (excluding payroll), including VAT and CIS processes, and SDLT and employer tax compliance matters
* Manage projects such as SAO, Tax Strategy Policy, developing HMRC CCM relationship and managing Business Risk Reviews

The Group are passionate about what they do and the positive energy culture is very apparent in everyone throughout the business. The successful candidate must have strong UK corporate tax experience ideally with some experience / exposure to indirect tax.
